8/12/13 – Court Obervation – Judge David Strickland

Judge David Strickland
At 9:50 am a man who had completed his probation went before the judge without an attorney to submit a receipt showing that he had paid court costs.

There were 15 police officers in court. There were only 2 attorneys in court, but neither client came to court. There were 30 cases on the docket.

At 10:30 am no cases had been heard.

At 10:40 am I was told that the defense attorney for the case I was there for (Jamil Graves) was out of town. I left the courtroom and no cases had been called.
