Outcome of hearing
There were four counts of robbery. The plea that was offered was for 3 armed robberies, 59-83 months. This was consolidated from 633 months-880 months. Te’asia was not happy with his lawyer and not happy with the plea deal. He told the judge that he was “not guilty.” She asked him if he understood that if he went to trial and he was found guilty, that he would have a sentence of 633 months-880 months. She calculated that for him in years and said that it would be 50 years. He said he understood. He reiterated he was “not guilty.” The judge appointed a new counsel.
