Notes:
An officer stopped defendant & called for back up. The officer that stopped the defendant was in court but the back up officer was not subpoenaed & the ADA wanted him in court because the defendant admitted to the back up officer that the weapon was his. The gun was found after defendant got rid of it. The ADA offered a plea to plead guilty to carrying a concealed weapon which he said is a class 1 offense but the Defense attorney had not said if the defendant would accept the plea.
The defendant has a murder charge against him going to trial in Jan. 20017. The ADA didn’t know who the defense attorney was when he spoke to me.
