Meetings are open to the public

The Independence Division group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month from 7:00-8:00pm.

Location: 9315 - G Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28202

At each meeting, we review court dates attended since the previous meeting and discuss upcoming court dates.  Volunteers sign up to attend as their schedules allow.  We also discuss crime in our neighborhoods. Our community officers may present a new offender that is a chronic problem.  The group votes whether or not to pick up that offender.  If the group decides to track an individual, we will attend his/her bond hearing and any subsequent hearings that allows us to show the courts that there are concerned citizens present because of this offender's criminal activity. The information we obtain during those hearings are posted under the judge presiding and also on each offender's profile page.

Our Officers: Ofc. Correll(RA3), Ofc. Funderburk(RA3)

Please consider joining us at our next meeting!
